Rubber Submersible Flat cables

COPTECH WIRE INDUSTRY (CWI) Makes Rubber Submersible Flat cables and Round cables with its state of art manufacturing plant located at Coimbatore, India. We are leading submersible flat cable manufacturer. These cable are made suitable for submersible product applications, Industrial and commercial applications by fulfilling the relevant BIS, EN, BS , IEC standard requirements as per customer request .

Conductor

Conductor are made from electrolytic grade with more than 100% conductivity and >99.95% purity copper material. Copper rod is converted into fine wires and annealed for better flexibility the bunched together at uniform lay length to form circular shape and to meet required resistance as per standards. Based on customer or standard requirements tinned conductors shall used.

Insulation

In keeping with the company’s commitment to technological advancement, elastomer materials such as Polychloroprene (PCP), Chlorosulphonated polyethylene (CSP), Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) and Silicone have been specially compounded to meet numerous heats, wet, uv, oil and fire resisting requirements.

In general EPR /Elastomer based compound used in our cables for insulation and sheath. Homogenously extruded material will be insulated and sheathed over the conductor with uniformed thickness in both insulation and sheath. Insulated wire will be checked through online spark tester at high voltage to arrest insulation defects due to foreign materials or any other reason.

Advantages of Rubber Cables:
The principle advantage of all rubber cables over other insulated cables is the excellent flexibility in temperature range. They also have very good water absorption properties. Rubber cables also have superior abrasion resistance and weathering resistance making them particularly suitable in harsh environments as trailing leads for portable electrical appliances, power tools, pumps and generators.

Feature
1. Excellent flexibility
2. Excellent insulation properties in water
3. Suitable for Wet & Dry applications
4. Resistant to oil
5. Good resistant to Fresh ,salty Water
6. UV, Sun light and Ozone resistant
7. Very low water absorption
8. For Fixed applications, lowest temperature range is –40⁰C
9. For Motion applications, temperature ranges from -25⁰C to +60⁰C
